The GLUB maintains bonds of friendship with many obediences in Africa, in Europe and across the Americas. The 2027 General Assembly stands in that tradition of openness.

To the Glory of the Great Architect of the Universe,
Within the universality of Freemasonry, the philosophical association GLUB-BENIN, registered under number 2024/0456/MISP/DC/SGM/DAIC/ACC/SA, which I lead in my capacity as Grand Master, plays its part in full.
Our presence online and on digital platforms is anything but propaganda: quite evidently, Freemasonry is not secret but discreet, owing to the humility of masons and to their founding principles.
Accordingly, our local obedience places itself in a perspective of closeness, so as to open itself to all those who aspire to become masons for one reason or another, and above all to foster partnerships with other obediences, so that the work and the impact of masons in the development of nations may be further strengthened and sustained.
In search of that which is lost, let us work together and widen our fields of action for the benefit of the most vulnerable. Should you one day want for bread, remember that we are Brothers.

The GLUB-GLET: a worldwide masonic network in action
By taking its place within a worldwide masonic network, the GLUB plays an active part in spreading the ideals of Freemasonry. Our members are connected to a vast network of people who share the same values, strengthening bonds across borders.
Official name
The official name of the Obedience is Grande Loge Unie du Bénin (GLUB) : the United Grand Lodge of Benin. Other names may have circulated in the past; only this one applies to Convent 2027 and to all official documents.
