The United Grand Lodge of Benin today opens registration for its General Assembly / Convent 2027, to be held from 22 to 27 February 2027 in Cotonou. Participation is entirely free of charge.
Online registration, free of charge
The registration form is now available on the Convent portal. It replaces every other channel: no registration by telephone, by instant messaging or through a third party will be taken into account.
Registering online allows the Organising Committee to prepare your reception, your access badge and, for participants who need one, the invitation letter intended to accompany their visa application.
The validation timetable
Every file follows the same route. Once the email address has been verified, the
Committee reviews the declared affiliation, then assigns a unique registration number
in the form GLUB2027-XXXXX. The badge is then generated and becomes
available for download from the participant area.
The indicative review time is five working days. It may lengthen as the event approaches: the Committee therefore invites delegations to register early, especially where a visa application is required.
Invitation letter and visa
Reminder
The invitation letter is intended to accompany, where necessary, a visa application file. It does not constitute a guarantee that a visa will be granted; that decision rests exclusively with the competent authorities.
The request is made directly in the registration form, at the "Stay & visa" step. The files concerned join a dedicated queue whose progress is visible from the participant area.
Vigilance against fraud
The Organising Committee calls on Brothers and Sisters to be especially vigilant. Registration for the Convent is free and the GLUB mandates no intermediary. No person, agency or third-party site is authorised to sell a registration, to speed up its processing or to guarantee that a visa will be granted.
Official correspondence comes only from contact@glubenin.org and glub229@gmail.com. Any message demanding payment should be forwarded to the Committee without reply.
Next steps
The final programme, the list of partner hotels and the arrangements for transfers from the airport will be published on this portal over the coming months, and emailed to validated participants.
